Handmade means what, exactly?

Most everything listed on this site is made by hand, in a household that is dog friendly. The dogs are not allowed in the room where the items are made, though I cannot make any guarantees of being allergen free. If you have allergens, please be aware of this.

I carefully sew each item with the full intention of not making any mistakes, but it does happen. If there are small flaws, just know that the bag/item is still completely functional. I will not sell any bags/items with flaws that may compromise the functionality and durability of the item itself.

how is my stuff getting to me?

Scream Seams currently only ships to the 48 contiguous US states through USPS and UPS. For Alaska and Hawaii, please email me at screamseams@aol.com before placing your order so we can figure out the cheapest shipping option. Once a package leaves the care of Scream Seams and is in the possession of the shipping carrier, Scream Seams is not responsible or liable for any lost or damaged packages. â€‹

Can I change my shipping address?

You better hope you're faster than me! Email me at screamseams@aol.com with the correct shipping information and order number. Depending on when I receive your order, I can't guarantee I haven't already printed shipping labels and sent it off yet. So as soon as you notice the error, reach out. 

How do i clean my items?

Please don't machine wash items unless the care instructions specify. For anything major or if you have a specific situation, reach out to me at screamseams@aol.com with a description of what is going on and I will give my best recommendation. 

Where are these items made?

By me, in my house, in the sweltering hellscape that is Texas. Winter? We don't know her. 

What is your return policy?

I do not accept returns in most cases due to the unique nature of the items. Please note that I am not a factory and am human, so mistakes can happen. Please inspect and reach out within 3 days of receiving your items. After that time, no refunds or returns will be issued.

Any order cancellations will be charged a restocking fee. No exceptions.

Do you do repairs?

Items that I make may be repaired at no cost within 60 days of you receiving your order only if the item is defective upon receiving, and is due to an error made by me. Defects affect the function of the item itself, and may include but are not limited to: broken or defective hardware, items falling apart, etc. You will need to email screamseams@aol.com with a description of the defect and photos. No description or photos of the issue and I cannot help you as I need to see what exactly is going on before I can make that decision. Approvals for repairs are not guaranteed and are approved upon a case by case basis. Free repairs will not be honored after 60 days of the customer receiving the item.

If the customer improperly used the product and caused a cosmetic or functional issue, that does not grant cause for repairs. If you are seeking repairs for an item that was improperly used, you can email screamseams@aol.com and I can see if it can be repaired or not. Photos and a description of what the issue is will need to be included in the email. Repair costs will need to be paid for in advance, and are subject to my discretion based on photo evidence. Shipping costs will also have to be covered by the customer.

With that said, be please be gentle on your items. These are handmade and will not hold a ton of bricks.

Do you make custom items?

I have a limited amount of spots and items available. Please check the customs tab under the shop. Be sure to check all the specs listed, as there are no returns on customs. Please check the turn around time (TAT) on each item listing. There is no rush options on customs. If there's an item you'd like but don't see on the site, message me on Facebook and we can discuss. Customs not listed on the site are approved on a case by case basis. 

returns for custom items?

Heavens to Betsy, no. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee someone else would want the pre-made custom item. All custom orders are absolutely final and can not be returned or replaced.
